Rinko Kikuchi was a Japanese actress born on February 8, 1981. She appeared on numerous films and among them were popular. She appeared as in Pacific film (2013) Mako Mori and the Japanese drama Norwegian Wood (Noruwei no mori). Born Yuriko Kikuchi, Rinko started her career when she was discovered by a talent agent while she was a 15 in Hadano, south of Tokyo.

Also, she began modelling in her town and appeared for fashion brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel. Soon after, she rose to fame outside her native country and began studying English lessons. Later she moved to New York City and became successful in her roles in Pacific Rim and 47 Ronin. Personally, she has a son and married to Sometani Shota, a Japanese actor.
