The purikura is not the usual photo booth that you can see in any other country aside from the Land of the Rising Sun. The Japanese purikura is a photo booth wherein people can choose a design for their own pictures. Upon the first choice of the purikura theme, the users can now pose in front of the camera, while the booth gives them instructions or shows them the trending poses. After the pictorial, users can edit their own pictures and put more colors and designs. The pictures are then printed for the users to take home.
