While the country was struck by heat wave during summer of 2014, here go the river otters taking a plunge by hitting the waters slides at the Zoological and Botanical Garden on Ichikawa City.
Primarily recognized for their sets of fur, river otters are just one of the many animals whom were declared critically-endangered species in the planet. In 2012, the Japanese river otters were declared extinct after not being able to see the very last of the variety mammal for more than 30 years (or in 1979, to be exact).
