The Japanese Spitz is a small dog known for it's thick, and pure white double coat. Despite having thick fur, this dog is a low-maintenance breed as the texture of their coat prevents mud or dirt from sticking to it. They can grow up to 16 inches long and are slightly larger than their cousins, the Pomeranian. This particular breed was born out of crossbreeding other Spitz breed.
They are very courageous and affectionate, making them ideal companions for older people and small children. They are also known for being loyal and devoted to their humans, making them the one of the best watchdogs. They can also live from 10 to 16 years, making their lifespan longer than other dogs.
