Iado sword martial arts master, Isao Machii, just acquired his sixth Guinness World Record.

How man sword cuts can be made in just one minute? Katana master Machii said 87, winning him the record for the most martial arts sword cuts in one minute (rush straw).

The challenge happend in a park in Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan, under the control of Guinness World Records adjudicator Kaoru Ishikawa. The straw shafts used in the challenge were a about 90 cm in length, and were all divided into four sections, as marke in every 15 cm.

Isao Machii said that this is his way of securing his Iado sword legacy to the world.
