In Asukasa, there is a gentleman who made amazing in crafting miniature-sized animal products out of leather. His leather art works, usually miniature versions of Shiba Inu and other breeds of dogs, tigers, and horses, are priced between 1,000 to 1,500 yen.
Asakusa is a district in Taitō, Tokyo, Japan, where it houses the greatest Buddhist temple Sensō-ji. Taitō is one of the two districts with a strong history of leather work in Tokyo. In fact, the place is known for advocating the revitalization of small-scale manufacturing, with one of their projects is through opening of the Taito Designers Village in 2004.
