Dogs (Inu in Japanese) have been considered as man's best friend. You may wonder what they are thinking or if they think the same just like us when we treat them as our family members. A neuroscientist from the Emory University used Magnetic resonance imaging to scan the dog's brain. It was revealed that the canine's frontal lobe activity (the brain front part) was similar to humans. Gregory Berns, who oversaw the experiment, gave the dogs praise and hot dogs. Afterward, he tested their neurological responses. Bern's team revealed that dogs responded equally to food and praise. The conclusion is that dogs love us as much as food.
