Japan may be famously known for their cuisine, but so does their wax models. At first, they may look like a legit food, but it is more of an art model (or even a toy) than a delicacy.

In this video that is an excerpt from Tokyo-Ga, we will see how the process of making wax models of food is made.

The video clip is derived from Tokyo-Ga, a 1985 documentary film about the late 'silent film' maker Yasujirō Ozu. It is narrated and directed by Win Wenders.
