The Japanese Giant Hornet or the Kyodai Suzumebachi actually belongs to the subspecies of the Asian Giant Hornet, the world's largest hornet. Adult hornets can be more than four centimetres long, with a wingspan of over six centimetres.
It is mostly yellow with a dark brown body. This specie is only found in Japan, hence the name, and they actually dwell more on areas with a lot of trees where they can reproduce and create nests.
Hornets are known to be aggressive when provoked. Due to this, according to some statistics data, it is the most dangerous wild animal in Japan, because of its sting.
