The long wait had been over as Areno Inoue’s bestselling novel ‘Kekkon’ released its movie adaptation of the same name.
‘Kekkon’, literally translated as ‘marriage’, is about a con-man using marriage to lure attractive young women into giving out their money. Kenji Urumi, the swindler played by Dean Fujioka, displays just the right amount of sex appeal and sad, tragic eyes that women can’t resist, making the smooth criminal come to life.
The romance-drama gives you 118 minutes of elaborate schemes, tragic backstory, and perplexing sympathy to the seductive anti-hero.
The movie was directed by Shinichi Nishitani and released on June 24, 2017.
