Karen Fukuhara is one of the Japanese artists that has successfully penetrated the Hollywood movie industry. She is known for playing the role of Katana (Tatsu Yamashiro) in the 2016 movie, Suicide Squad. Born in Los Angeles, California, United States of America, she has started her career in the television network NHK, which is based in Japan. She created a name then as a member of the Movie Surfers in Disney Channel. While attending the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), she had also been involved in an acappella group called Medleys.
