John Lennon is the member of the phenomenal band The Beatles who married Japanese artist Yoko Ono. They met in one of Yoko Ono's art exhibition in London on November 9, 1966. At the gallery, some friends introduced them to each other. Ono gave Lennon her calling card with just one word written on it, "Breathe." Later, John was struck by one of the artworks in the exhibit. There was a ladder leading to a white canvass on the ceiling, with a spyglass hanging at the end of a chain. At the end of the ladder, there was a tiny word written on the canvass, and upon close examination using the spyglass, it read "Yes."

Three years after, they married each other.
