Here's a marriage proposal that involved technology (a wedding chime playing through multiple mobile phones and on different tables) and somewhat with magic as the ring appeared in the box following his trick. It happened in Ebisu, Tokyo, Japan on November 2009.
It was a romantic but classy as the female's friends and family appear in the restaurant, applauding her approval of boyfriend's proposal.
