Gary Rosheisen, who is from Columbus, Ohio, was suffering from the stroke and osteoporosis that means the bones are weak. The cat named Tommy become Gary's cat as he thought that having a cat and a pet would lower his blood pressure. The wheelchair-bound man taught his cat to dial 911 although he is not sure if this teaching stuck on the cat's mind. The day came when Gary suffered from a seizure and fell to the floor from his wheelchair. He can't also get up because of his osteoporosis.
That's when the Police received a silent telephone call. During that time, Officer Patrick Daugherty was on duty and the dispatcher called the number. The police officer went to Gary's house and found the incapacitated man lying beside the toppled wheelchair. Gary Rosheisen told that his cat was his "hero".
Cats just like a dog are intelligent and capable of learning complex tasks. In Japan, cats have been one of the favourite companion animals and they are highly regarded adorable pets. You can also find cats in large numbers that an island was named after them due to the large cat population that outnumbers humans.
