Heaviest strawberry is Japanese strawberry.
After 32 years, Mr. Koji Nakao, a farmer from Fuji, Japan has grown the world's heaviest strawberry, beating the previous Guinness record holder by G. Anderson of Folklore, Kent UK, which weighs 231 g. The world's heaviest strawberry weighs 250g (8.82 oz) with a height of 8 cm (3.15 in), length of 12 cm (4.72 in) and a circumference of 25 to 30 cm (9.84 to 11.81 in).
This strawberry was submitted to the GWR team in Tokyo and weighed in Fukuoka, Japan, on 28 January 2015. Mr. Koji's extraordinary fruit was said to be a Japanese variety called "Amaou".
