In a recent episode of the Japanese TV show, Tantei! Knightscoop, a University student named Satoyuki Fujimura challenged a world record that has remained unbeatable for 8 years.

He challenged Jens Gudmandsen from Sweden, who was the record-holder for the man with the Most finger snaps in one minute. Official Guinness World Records judge Kaoru Ishikawa, together with two professional sound engineers, hailed Satoyuki as the new record-holder, after producing 296 snaps, 18 snaps more from Gudmandsen.

Satoyuki said his mother taught him this skill while he was still a teenager.
