Panchinko is a mechanical game originating from Japan which is a recreational arcade and can be compared to the Western slot machines. The panchinko machine is similar to the appearance of a pinball machine, but kind of different in Western Pinball. 

In playing panchinko, loading one or more metal balls is a must. Then, the player must press and release the spring handle which is loaded with metal balls which will make the ball launch to the metal track. The track will be the guide when the ball was launched around the edge of the playing field. When the ball loses the momentum it will fall to the playing field, while some of the panchinko machines have bumper to bounce the metal ball in order to reach the top.
