Japan has created another craft to cater to all their kawaii or cute ideas.

Here in the photo is an amigurumi doll, which is a crocheted or knitted plushy. The yarn used to make these kawaii stuffed toys comes in different colors and materials, which are suited on each and every design and style of the amigurumi artist. The technique starts with crocheting one cloth piece at a time, then sewing them together to complete the kawaii doll.

The word amigurumi comes from two Japanese word. The first word is ami which means crocheted or knitted. The second word, nuigurumi, is the Japanese term for stuffed toy.
