Japan aerials in 8K are aerial footage across Japan. In pixels, it's 4320 p. The 8k aerial footage covered locations such as Shiga (Lake Biwa), Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Yokohama. 8k is the highest video resolution that allows smoother gradients and higher levels of sharpness. An 8k resolution has more pixels and therefore sharper images than the 4k resolution. Currently, few companies have the capability to shoot in 8k resolution and among them is NHK. It's predicted that by 2023, 8k will become a mainstream resolution for video cameras, displays and televisions.
