Bang your head to the undying rock gods. Meet VAMPS.
VAMPS is a Japanese rock duo, composed of L'Arc-en-Ciel's vocalist, hyde, and K.A.Z. of the band, Oblivion Dust. It was formed in 2008 by hyde, and has consistently reached the Oricon Top Ten music chart with every single release since then. At first, it was signed under Hyde's own record label, Vamprose but then transferred to Universal Music Group's Delicious Deli Records in 2013.
The group was formed mainly to target the overseas market which is why only a year after its formation, it started to do world tours around Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. They performed English songs with their trademark grunge metal sound and gothic visuals to sold-out arenas.
