Jpop artist Utada Hikaru's Hikari, literally translating to English as "light, has been the theme song of the role-playing video game, Kingdom Hearts.

The song is part of her fourth studio album entitled Deep River. It was awarded platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAI) for being able to ship 500,000 units, 270,370 of which happened within the first week of release.
