Easy Breezy was the first single in Utada's second English album, entitled Exodus. The album was released by the label Island Def Jam. Utada has been an endorser for the Nintendo DS and this song was the one used in the advertisments.

One of the lines in the song says, "You came and went and left my house like a breeze." The song shares the emotions involved when a man suddenly enters a woman's life, "like a breeze" and just leave like nothing happened, "easy breezy."
