"Even if the rainbow someday fades, we'll always look to the sky."
The song, Rain, by Sekai no Owari, has been used in Studio Ponoc's first animated movie, Mary and the Witch's Flower. At first glance, the main character, Mary, sure has great resemblance to Studio Ghibli characters. The reason lies in Hiromasa Yonebayashi, the director and animator who once worked in the Hayao Miyazaki company.
Moreover, this piece of good music by Sekai no Owari surely sounded Ghibli-ish too, with all its positiveness and lightness, surely captured the spirit of the anime movie.
"I won't forget that on a day this rainy, you came to look at the sky with me."
