Some of the popular 1980s and1990s songs in the Philippines were versions of the original Japanese songs. One of these is "Saigo No IIwake" performed by Hideaki Tokunaga. The Filipino version (Ikaw pa rin) was popularized by Ted Ito. Another song popular in both countries is "Goodbye Day" sung by Takao Kisugi. Watch this Karaoke and concert video by mykaraoke2011.
