This 4-man J-rock band has been invading the music scene since 2005, the time when they usually had their band rehearsals every one o'clock in the morning because of lower studio fees. Hence the name of the band, ONE OK ROCK.

One of their first attempts to reach the worldwide audience was in 2012 when their song The Beginning was used in the first Rurouni Kenshin live-action movie. They since filled the next two Kenshin movies with their songs, MIghty Long Fall and Heartache.

In 2015, they released their first international album, entitled 35xxxv, under Warner Music International. It became their first number 1 album in the Japanese Oricon charts. This year, they released their second international album, Ambitions, and are currently on tour to promote this album, which has already reached the number one spot on the Oricon charts. One of the singles, We are, has reached the number one spot in the MYX International charts.
