Formed in 1997, Morning Musume has been supplying madness to the J-pop world since then. Literally, the group's name means "morning daughters."

A product of the Hello! Project, the group's record producer, as well as the idol's song composer, has been Tsunku. Just a year performing in the industry and the group already got the Newcomer Award for music at the Golden Arrow Awards. They also won 3 Song of the Year awards at the Japan Gold Discs Awards, held by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

The group has produced almost 15 albums up to the present.
