Momoiro Clover Z, also called as Momoclo, is a five-member idol group under Stardust Promotion. Each member of the group is identified by a color. Kanako Momota goes with Red. Shiori Tamai is yellow. Ayaka Sasaki is pink. Momoka Ariyasu goes with green, and Ren Takagi is purple. 

They are ranked as the most popular female idol group from 2013 to 2016. They generated the highest level of interest among all idol groups in Japan. They provided theme music for three of Japan's best animes: Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and Pokémon.

Their name means, "girls with pure hearts who wants to spread happiness". Their catch phrase, "Idols you can meet right now!" was derived from AKB48. Their concept is unique to other girl groups who focus on cuteness. Instead, they incorporate acrobatic stunts and flamboyant costumes in their performance.
