Miyavi, whose real name is Takamasa Ishihara, is a Japanese singer-songwriter and producer. Aside from his astonishingly good looks, he is also known for his musical skill, particularly fingers slapping the funk out of his guitar. He began as a guitarist for the visual-kei band,  Dué le Quartz, but then proceeded to go solo in 2002. In 2009, he founded his own company, J-Glam. In 2014, he acted in Angelina Jolie's film Unbroken as a Japanese military official. He continues to rock the world with his tours, ten solo albums, and 27 singles. He is currently based in Los Angeles with his wife, Melody, and two children.
