The 5-member vocal group called Little Glee Monster just won the Best Cinematography award at the recently conluded MTV Video Music Awards Japan (MTV VMAJ) 2018.

The Jpop group was formed in 2013, after Sony Music Records and Watanabe Entertainment Co. Ltd. called for auditions. In their search for strong vocalists, rather than idols, they were able to summon 6 girls.

One of them is Serina, who, aside from her vocal prowess, has training on beat boxing. Next one is Asahi, who also won the All Japan Karaoke Gran Prix in 2010. Next is Mayu, who won the 3rd BAKKY Jumping singer contest in 2012. Another member is Manaka, who won the 17th ORC200 Vocal Queen Contest in 2013. Their leader, Karen, can play the piano, aside from leading the harmonization in the group.
