The Fourth Avenue Cafe is the thirteenth single of Japanese rock band, L'arc~en~Ciel. It was previously the fourth ending theme song of the anime Rurouni Kenshin, also known internationally as Samurai X. The song talks about saying goodbye to one's love, the pain and happiness that comes with love, and the longing you feel for the person you fell in love with. The song is well-praised around social media due to its nostalgic 90s rock vibe. Although the song was removed from Rurouni Kenshin after a mere four episodes due to controversies against the band's drummer, The Fourth Avenue Cafe remains to be L'arc~en~Ciel's hit songs.
