You have heard of Koji Kondo’s music (unless you have been living under a rock.) 

Koji Kondo is known all over the world, maybe not by his name, but by his music. He is a music composer, pianist, sound designer and sound director who works for the video game developer Nintendo. He was the one who composed the phenomenal music of the Super Mario Bros. soundtrack, which gained him worldwide recognition. He was also nominated in the British Academy Games Awards twice for Best Original Music and in the Video Game Music Online for Best Soundtrack – Retro / Remixed).
