Juju is a Japanese jazz singer under Sony Music. She hailed from Kyoto, Japan. And at the age of 18, she started her career in New York. In 2004, she released her first single, Hikaru no Naka e, in New York. She also started performing in Japan that same year.

Playback is Juju's 29th single. It was released by the Sony Music Associated Electrics Records in 2015. It has also been decided as the official song of the "21st Tokyo Girls Collection 2015 A / W."
