Skateboarding was one of the 5 new sports approved by the International Olympic Committee to be added in the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. Skateboarding will be divided into 4 medal events, with Men and Women’s division doing Park and Street disciplines. 

Sky Brown aims to reach for her own sky. Born from a Japanese mother and a British father, she will participate in the Skateboarding competition in the Tokyo Summer Games. A young girl of 9 years, she will represent Japan. The no age limit encourages her to ‘go for it’. 

The Skateboarding competition will take place in the Aomi Urban Sports Venue in Tokyo.
