Hoshino Gen received two trophies at the recently concluded MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2018 for his music video on the song, Idea!

The video won Best Pop Video and Best Art Direction. Prior to these awards, Hoshino Gen already made a record at the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for being the first artist to be at the no. 1 spot for 2 consecutive weeks, from August 27 to September 2, without releasing physical copies of the song. The song is only available for download on iTunes.

Prior to these, before its digital release on August 20, the song is only heard as the opening theme song for an NHK drama, Hanbun Aoi. The song has not been played on radios before that and still, the song managed to grab the charts. 

For this music video, it is said that there are around 70 cameras installed in the shooting area.
