Glay's single, Survival was released on May 19, 1995. It is their first video single ever launched. The song was able to reach the top spot on the weekly Oricon charts. Also, they wer able to sell around 902, 376 copies.

This song was also used the fist opening theme for the anime series Kaikan Phase, a shoujo manga high school student, Aine Yukimura who become a lyricist for a rock band, and eventually fell in love with the front man. The animation of this piece was supervised by Koji Morimoto , who did the OVA for Macross and Street Fighter.

The song was composed by Takuro and arranged by Glay, Sakuma Masahide.
