Known for her song which has been featured on Fate/Zero and Sword Art Online, Eir Aoi made her debut in 2011. 

In the said year, her first major single, entitled, "Memoria," has been used for the anime show Fate/ Zero as an ending theme.

Her career in anisong continued the following year, with the release of her second single, entitled, "Aurora," which was featured as an opening some to Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. Also in 2012, her third single, entitled, "Innocence," was featured as an opening them to the anime series, Sword Art Online. 

Her succeeding singles were then used for other anime shows like Kill la Kill, Sword Art Online: Extra Edition, Sword Art Online II, Aldoah, The Heroic Legend of Arslan, and others. She was also featured in a TBS show and in a PlayStation 4 game.
