Karate is one of the songs released in Babymetal's second studio album entitle Metal Resistance. The song was written and produced by Yuyoyuppe, or more popularly known as Yuppermetal. The song was releasedy by BMD Fox Records and Toy's Factory on the 26th of February, 2016.

The song reached the number two spot on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart and stayed there for six weeks. It also ranked number 17 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and stayed on the chart for 8 weeks. The song was even recognized by WWE's Triple H, and eventually was used as one of the official theme songs of NXT TakeOver.
