Ueto Aya is a Japanese actress, singer, and television personality.

She started her career and received her first break when she was 11 years old where she won the Special Jury Prize at the 7th All-Japan Bishoujo Contest. Before she became an actress, she started as a commercial actress first. She was hailed as the CM Queen after she represented 10 different companies. She signed to Oscar Promotion agency and began taking singing, dancing, and acting lessons. Thereafter, she appeared in different television drama and action movie.

She started her music career when she formed her girl group Z-1. After this group was disbanded, she signed with Pony Canyon and released her first single, Pureness.
