Ali Project is a Japanese band that developed a strong Japanese Aristocrat-style image.

The band only consists of two members Akira Takarano and Mikiya Katakura. Akira Takarano in the singer/lyricist and Mikiya Katakura composes and arranges all music.

The duo blends in fashion and music cultures of modern Tokyo. At first, the style of their music is light, cheerful, and are refreshing. Lately, their music has changed and has a darker and more mysterious tone. This change, according to Akira Takarano, is a transition from White Alice to Black Alice.

They have already released 17 studio albums, 12 compilation albums, 1 extended play, 21 singles, 5 video albums, 9 soundtrack albums, and 8 string albums.
