Wasabi is known as the Japanese horseradish. It is known to be that green paste served when you order sushi or sashimi. Unlike chili which is hot on the tongue, wasabi has that after taste attack, blowing hot air onto your nasal passages. This condiment has been known to be great with a variety of Japanese dishes. But Japan is not satisfied with just serving the green paste on fish or meats or stews. They have even created a dessert out of this powerful horseradish. And yes, this green paste has made its way to the ice creamery.
