Wagyu is from any of the four Japanese cow breeds that produce premium beef. The wagyu beef are also known for its superb marbling, which means it produces just the right amount of unsaturated fat to give each cut of beef the most longed for taste of Japanese wagyu. Some of the well-known beef from different parts of Japan are Matsusaka beef, Kobe beef, Yonezawa beef and Mishima beef.
