Ramen shops are all around Japan. From regular ramen to super spicy devil ramen, it’s hard to set yourself apart from the pack of noodle shops all over the Land of the Rising Sun.

But Tsuta Ramen proves that simple but high quality food is hard to beat. In fact, it has eventually made itself a standard by earning one of the only two ramen shops with a Michelin star!

It’s owner, Yuki Onishi learned the trade from his father and set up his own 9-seater shop, serving only 150 bowls per day.
