John Daub of ONLY in JAPAN brings us to another food trip, this time at Tokyo's Ameyoko Market!
With around 400 meters of shops lining the streets from the Okachimachi Station to Ueno of the Yamanote Line, this street food haven offers rice meals from kaisendon or food bowls, to massive takoyakis to kakigoris to fresh fruits to sake and oyster combo to candies to some new deep-fried cheese snacks from Korea!
It started out as a black market for restricted goods in 1946. Now, it has become a perfect place for discounted goods and your favorite street food!
