There's a Japanese artist that made a realistic food that resembles inedible items. A famous one is the sponge cake that looks very similar to the sponge and soap used in the dishwashing sink. @iine_piroshiki posted this photo on twitter. Some Japanese netizens reacted that they can't eat the food despite the cake is real because it's so realistic. Other items posted where fruit peels made from real edible ingredients.
