MRE or meal ready to eat refers to the freezer dried or dehydrated food that can survive for many years ( 2 or 5 years or more. MRE's are usually used by the military as combat rations although there are civilian MREs as well. Youtuber CrazyRussianHacker reviews this Japanese MRE from Japan Self Defence Force.
