Omelettes are quite different in Japan. While most of the countries formed their dish in either circled or free shaped form, here in Japan, omellettes are quite known for serving in a four-cornered dishes. It is known as Tamagoyaki. And its process of cooking was more tedious as it involves shaping the food into the desired shape in a makiyakinabe, a rectangular pan intended for making omellettes.
