Pocky is a Japanese snack made of pretzel sticks coated in chocolate. It was created by the company Ezaki Glico in 1966. Today, there are several different flavors of Pocky, including milk, almond, strawberry, and cookies and cream.
Pocky’s name comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia "pokkin" or the sound that comes from eating the crispy snack.
Aside from the usual coatings, Pocky also comes in more traditional flavors such as green tea, kiwi fruit, mango, and honey.
The brand believed that sharing a box of Pocky with friends is like sharing a box of happiness. They also recommended using Pocky as a stirrer for drinks such as coffee.
