Cheesecake is said to have originated in ancient Greece and is thus a Western dessert. But a patisserie in Osaka, Japan has given the cheesecake a whole new experience.
Founded by Masamitsu Sakimoto, the Pablo Cheesecake of Osaka had made a name for itself worldwide. The cheese tart is known for its gooey egg, cheese and custard filling. The soft and savory center is complimented well with the crunchy and flaky bread crust. In its original store in Osaka, guests can even choose the level of doneness of the cheesecake, just like when steaks are served in authentic restaurants. A guest may choose to have a completely rare one, a medium-rare or a well-done cheesecake, all of which produces the texture that any kind of person will love.
