Hot pot dishes are popular among countries with four seasons, especially during winter. And Japan will not be left behind in terms of sumptous soup-based dishes served on pots. Introducing the nabemono or the Japanese one-pot dishes. The Japanese word for nabe means "cooking pot" while mono is the Japanese term for "things. When combined these steaming hot pot dishes are actually "things" served on "cooking pots." They are usually prepared on portable stoves placed on top of the table. The ingredients depend on the region, the season and the people who are eating. The people can actually cook anything they like on these cooking pots.
