When talking about cities in Japan, the most popular answers would be Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. But there is another city that is rapidly catching up with the list. It is the city of Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture. It boasts not only of destinations but also of culture and the most important of all, food. In fact, it has a variety of udon noodle dish that can just be tated in the city. It is called the miso-nikomi udon. Already bearing the word in its name, this is a noodle food that has a soybean miso as its base. It is then served with a helping of shitake mushrooms and a broth of the bonito fish for a unique taste.
